Astroshell Domes

Astroshell Domes are new contemporary observatory domes from APM Telescopes that satisfy the technical desire of a modern astronomer.

Astroshell Domes are available in two models:

  • Astroshell Dome with 4.25m outer diameter and
  • Astroshell Dome with 6.25m outer diameter

These new domes open above you and enable observing 360° around you, without the disadvantage of a limiting dome opening. The domes are made of ice- and UV resistant "Norway Glasfiber". Depening on the model size 6 to 10 persons fit in the dome.

An important feature is the ability to be controlled via USB connection (Windows Driver). Also a motor, a control unit and a suitable 220V power supply is included.
